This barbecue sauce is great on ribs and chicken on the grill.
Servings
4 cups
4 cups ketchup
½ cup blackstrap molasses
¾ cup apple jelly
¾ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp chipotle-based hot sauce
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
Cook until reduced to 4 cups.
Keep refrigerated for up to 3 weeks in a large mason jar or a squirt bottle.
