225 g (8 oz) spaghetti
3 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves
450 g (1 lb) shrimp
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoon red chile flakes
¼ cup (25 g / 1 oz) chopped parsley
Boil the spaghetti in water until al dente.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and stir.
Add the shrimp and cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink-red in color.

Season with salt and pepper, then stir in lemon juice, chili, and parsley.
Drain the pasta in a colander and stir into the pan of shrimp.
Divide the pasta between 4 plates and serve.
