Ginger tea is a drink brewed from fresh ginger. Some use it to soothe coughs and sore throats. It is also sometimes sipped to warm up the body.
Fresh ginger
Water
Sweetener (optional)
Cut ginger into small pieces, and rinse to remove dirt.
Add water to the sliced ginger and bring to a boil.
Allow to simmer for a few minutes, then strain the drink to remove ginger particles.
Add sweetener to taste, and serve.
