Gullisuwa is a type of fritter commonly eaten in the northern part of Nigeria during festive periods and weddings, and as street food.

½ cup powdered milk
¼ cup white granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Vanilla powder
Water
Vegetable oil
Combine powdered milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla powder in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Mix in enough water to form a dough.
Grease your hands with vegetable oil, and roll the dough into small balls.
Deep fry the dough in a pan of hot vegetable oil until browned all over.
Use spoon to remove the fritters from the oil and drain in a sieve.
Serve fresh.
