Hot fudge is a chocolate sauce for putting on ice cream.

½ cup (120 ml) milk
1 ½ cups (350 g) white granulated sugar
1 ½ tablespoons cocoa
1 dash salt
¾ tablespoon butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
Mix milk, sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan and bring to a full rolling boil.
Turn off heat and add butter and vanilla.
Let rest for a couple minutes until butter is melted. Beat with a spoon and serve.
