Mexican Seasoning is sometimes just chili powder, though many variations on this theme exist. Make your own mixture ahead of time and store in a small shaker for easy use.
½ cup chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
1–2 teaspoons cumin (seed or powder)
1 teaspoon or more garlic
1 teaspoon or more of the following: Mexican oregano
Basil
Coriander
Onion (powder or granulated)
Cinnamon
Crushed red pepper
Black pepper
Combine all ingredients.
Store in a cool, dry place.
