½ cup tequila
3 tbsp mesquite honey
¼ tsp liquid mesquite smoke
¼ cup freshly-squeezed lime juice
1 habanero chile, puréed until smooth
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp freshly-ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in an 8-ounce mason jar. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before using.
