Nigerian oatmeal is a nutritious and well-balanced dish that can be enjoyed straight or as porridge with milk. Nothing is more filling than oatmeal, making it ideal for a chilly morning or a day following a workout.
1 cup oats
Milk
Water
Sugar
Salt
Banana, sliced
Soak the oats in enough milk or water overnight in the fridge.
Bring a pot of water to a boil with a pinch of salt. Stir in the soaked oats and a pinch of sugar.
Cook the oats, stirring, until they have absorbed the liquid and become soft.
Remove from the heat. Serve warm with banana, milk, and/or yogurt.
