This is a recipe for simple cooked rice, but made with oat milk instead of water. It is more nutrient-dense than rice cooked with water, and it has a sweet flavor when made with store-bought oat milk. This rice can be used as a substitute for cooked rice in any recipe.

2 cups (480 ml) uncooked rice
3½ cups (840 ml) oat milk
Wash the rice and drain the water.
Pour the oat milk and rice into a pot.
Put the pot on the stove, and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until foam appears.
5 minutes
Start stirring the mixture with a spoon, and continue stirring until the mixture boils.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring, until almost all the liquid is gone.
Remove from the heat and serve.
