Ove is a typical Nigerian pudding prepared from yam.
2 tsp chile pepper paste
1 medium-sized yam, peeled and grated
¼ cup shredded fish
2 tbsp groundnut oil
¼ ea. onion, chopped
1 pinch salt
1 wrapping leaf (e.g. banana leaf)
Remove unwanted substances from the fish. Then, rinse and cook for few minutes.
Combine the groundnut oil, onion, pepper paste, and fish to make a sauce.
Stir the sauce into the grated yam along with the salt.
Wrap this mixture up in the leaf, then boil for a few minutes to cook it.
