This peanut sauce works very well when served with stir-fried tofu and greens or any steamed vegetables.
½ cup peanut butter
1–2 cloves of garlic
3 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp vinegar, rice vinegar or cider vinegar
1 Tbsp brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
½ cup hot water
Mix all ingredients together, adding the water last.
