Lassi are yogurt-based beverages in either sweet or salted flavors. The most common flavors include mango, rose water, and plain sugar-sweetened lassi.
4 cups (1 L) yogurt
3 cups (750 ml) cold water
Fresh green chile peppers (quantity according to taste), chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds, roasted and ground
3 tbsp lime or lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1 cup (250 ml) crushed ice
Combine all ingredients except ice in blender and blend until smooth.
Add ice and continue blending until frothy.
