3 cups sifted flour
1½ cups white granulated sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups water
¾ cups vegetable oil
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp vanilla
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking soda in a large bowl.
Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Blend thoroughly.
Pour into a greased square cake pan.
Bake at 180°C or 350°F for 35â40 minutes.
